This wonderful Odum Ottoman has been upholstered in handwoven jute, in a striking Aztec design, using the traditional skills of artisans in Rajasthan. The legs are hand turned from sustainable mango wood. This beautiful piece would be a great addition to any living space and it is incredibly versatile too – you can use it as a footstool, seat or even coffee table.
Blue & Natural / 36 x 125 x 44cm
A matching chair is also available. These pieces are made from tough and beautiful jute – skilfully woven, braided and stitched by hand using age-old methods and traditional handlooms. Jute is a great eco product too as it is a rain fed crop that has little need for fertiliser or pesticides. It is a natural vegetable fibre that can be spun into strong and durable threads, so these fabulous pieces will age fantastically well.
